Town & Country is a family run business with a heritage that dates back more than half a century, when the company began designing, manufacturing and supplying a range of fashion-led leather products including handbags and gloves.
For the past 30 years our focus has been on bringing innovation to the gardening sector with a range of gloves and footwear that combines quality, functionality and style, with a price tag that represents exceptional value for money
Today the company is recognised as one of the UK’s leading gardening brands and offers one of the most comprehensive collections of gardening gloves and footwear currently available from under one roof.
Town & Country has been in the vanguard of all major developments in the gardening gloves market for the last 29 years and, as the UK’s top-selling specialist, demonstrates an attention to detail matched by few others, if any, in the industry.
All our gloves are designed in the UK and manufactured in close collaboration with a select number of factories in the Far East with whom we have been working for many years. At each stage of the design process, samples are returned to the UK for testing and approval – all controlled from head office. Meticulous attention is paid to sizing, comfort and fit – factors that are continually identified during consumer research as the most important features for a gardening glove.
Having made the first steps into footwear in 1997, Town & Country has continued to invest in the range and we currently over a total of 11 different styles, ranging from ballerina-style flats and slip on cloggies through to ankle boots, short boots and top of the range neoprene-lined boots. In a recent feature in the Daily Mail, Town & Country’s Premium Wellingtons were rated on a par with Hunter in terms of quality - only at a fraction of the price.
Our aim is to continue to develop our gloves and footwear offer to bring the very best in style, quality and performance. As well as talking to our customers about what they want from our products, we look to the fashion arena for inspiration and keep a close eye on the latest trends in colours, patterns and designs.
